PECB Certified ISO 56001 Lead Implementer

Many organisations now run innovation projects, labs and portfolios, yet struggle to turn them into a repeatable capability that consistently realises value. Ideas compete for the same resources, decisions are made case by case, and leaders cannot show stakeholders that innovation is being managed with the same discipline as quality, safety or information security. ISO 56001:2024, the first certifiable international standard for innovation management systems (IMS), closes this gap.

Certified ISO 56001 Lead Implementer is the implementation stage of the PMO Innovations Innovation by Design Pathway. It is an official PECB training course, delivered by PMO Innovations as an authorised PECB training provider. Over four days, participants learn how to initiate, plan, implement, monitor, maintain and continually improve an IMS based on ISO 56001, guided by the PECB IMS Methodology (built on the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle) and supported by ISO 56000:2025 and ISO 56002:2019.

The course combines lectures, case studies, seven practical exercises and scenario-based quizzes that mirror the certification exam. It concludes with the PECB Certified ISO 56001 Lead Implementer exam. Candidates who pass the exam and meet the professional experience requirements are awarded the PECB Certified ISO 56001 Lead Implementer credential.
